Meet Yar

Yar Meshkaty has served the greater Los Angeles community as a real estate broker for more than 30 years. With outstanding dedication to his clients and a passion for connecting with others, he offers unbeatable service for those searching for their dream home or investment property. 

Emigrated from Iran, Yar has lived and worked in the greater Los Angeles area since 1979. At this time, he began his career on the West Side where he worked with a real estate and investment management company. He later joined the Coldwell Banker Beverly Hills team in 1990. In 2003, Yar established his real estate company, Yar Meshkaty Properties, with which he continued his partnership with Coldwell Banker. Between 2016 and 2020, he also served as Associate Manager of the Coldwell Banker Beverly Hills office. He currently serves the following neighborhoods: Beverly Hills, Westwood, Bel Air, Brentwood, Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, and all of West Los Angeles.

Yar proudly holds multiple accolades from Coldwell Banker including an International President Circle Award. He served as a director of Community Relations for Coldwell Banker. Additionally, while serving as a two-time Chair of the City of Beverly Hills Human Relations Commission, he was recognized for his dedication to community service. 

Outside of his real estate business, Yar enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife, Nooshin, have been married for 36 years. They have three children all of whom were born and raised in the greater Los Angeles area. In his spare time, Yar volunteers in many cultural and community affairs with his family. He believes in investing time and giving back to the community in which he lives and works. Additionally, he is an activist and advocate of international human rights.
